Meaning of Life – Endless Productivity
Life is self-evident in its meaning and purpose. We need not go beyond life to understand life. The meaning of life is super-imposed on each and every manifestation of life. The moment we look at life, life conveys its meaning without effort.
Life has a start and an end too. In so much as it has a beginning, it has a terminal point. The end of it gives way to a new start. The start becomes an end and an end an all new start. The circle goes on ceaselessly. At the center of this circle is life itself. Life is the dot that makes up the circle and the circle too. Life expands and contracts and then again expands and contracts. This is the drama of life. Life creates this drama to fight against the odds of extinction. Life takes on a new form because the old form decays to nothingness. Life produces life to survive in the face of haunting danger: the danger of being thrown out of existence. Productivity of life is the ultimate answer to the perennial danger that threatens the continuity of existence. Productivity is the end meaning of life: the meaning that life reflects in all its essential forms effortlessly.
Life is productive. Productive it must be. Productivity enables it to defy the ending that besets it every now and then. The key to the perpetual game of life is the endless productivity of life. No productivity, no life. No life, no productivity. The moment life ceases to be productive, life is no more. The mainstay of life is its essence: productivity. You take away productivity, you put an end to life. Productivity is core to life. Life has to preserve productivity at all cost. To preserve productivity, life has to preserve itself first. The first and foremost duty of life is to safeguard life.
Life protects itself from untimely death and ultimate death. Untimely death is the premature expiry; expiry at the prime of life. Ultimate death is the end point of a living organism. Life repels both. Too many untimely deaths are as onerous as ultimate deaths of many; even more. The outcome is rise in the probability of life hitting the end point. Life has to manage this. Life has an inbuilt mechanism to safeguard the living organism. The defense mechanism of life is very strong. At the same time, life renews itself from within. For life, death is not death as long as a new life is ready to take over. Adam and Eve are ever more alive and thriving. The multitude of humanity is the plenitude of existence. For life, death is not death as long as a new life is ready to take over. Adam and Eve are ever more alive and thriving. The multitude of humanity is the plenitude of existence. The seeds of Adam are deeply rooted into the soil of humankind. Adam truly got what he looked for: Khuld (longevity).
Within a human body, billions of cells die every day. We are least bothered. The human body survives the expiry of these cells. Likewise is the survival of mankind. The human race is not threatened, if this or that person dies. They die for the life to live. The decaying bodies cannot bear the burden of existence. Life is ever facing the danger of extinction. Life needs armored warriors not senile skeletons to defeat death. Life kills the misfit: Those who cannot partake in the scheme of life. Death is not the arch enemy of life. It is an intimate friend. Nay! Death is no separate entity. It is merely absence of life. Life says goodbye and that is termed death. Death is the end of productivity. When life is no more productive, life ends. Death takes over. The journey of life ends with the loss of productivity. Life ceases to be productive and death reigns supreme.
Lifeless life is deplorable. The meaning of life tells us why. Lifeless life is living without productivity. When a living organism is alive only for the sake of living, it is worth nothing. It does not make a difference whether a non-productive organism is alive or not. No one will be at loss when such organism is dead. Neither will life lose anything nor the living beings. If anything, it will be a profitable transaction for all. Life will gain, as a burden is off its shoulders. Living beings will benefit, as they would have more resources left for them. Lifeless life does not await death to be ensnared by nothingness. It is already engulfed by the devouring nothingness. Lifeless life is as much dead as death itself. Indeed, it is more dead than the stinking corpses that life is disposing off. Nothing more than a burden, these corpses weigh down life’s shoulders and reduce its effectiveness.
Lifeless life has no motivation to contribute. Either the motivation is not inherited or the urge to contribute is not put into action. Lifeless life is crippled from inside. It is plagued with an ailment which has no cure. The disease spread like cancer across the entire body. Every passing day is deadlier than the previous. The rate of the cancer growth is directly proportional to the rate of decline in motivation. Life is a great happening. Lifeless life is an absolute stillness. This mismatch is irreconcilable. While life is moving fast, lifeless organisms are determined to stay immobile. They are sure to be left behind. They cannot catch up. The speed of life is too high to be taken over. A day lost is lost forever. Each day it is new life and a new life altogether is a way far from being caught up. Life only knows how to move forward. Life knows no reverse order. To wait for life to come back and help you get on-board is futile. It is no fault of life. It is their error. They lost the game of life. Life is over for them. So is productivity.
